Description
A silver-impregnated granular activated carbon for liquid-phase treatment. Extensive microporosity suits it to removal of low molecular weight organic compounds and their chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes. Silver impregnation acts as a bacteriostat. Superior mechanical hardness combined with thorough de-dusting gives an exceptionally clean product with low initial flush turbidity.
Not certified for United States potable water
This grade is offered for industrial liquid-phase duty. It does not hold NSF/ANSI 61
or NSF/ANSI 42 certification and must not be specified into a US drinking water
system. See Quality & certifications.
