The facility

From gas testing rig, to pilot scale impregnation facility and rotary tube furnace to pilot scale extruder, we are well-equipped to serve you with world-class NBC solutions.

That equipment list matters because it defines what we can do inside a development cycle without tooling up. A new impregnation formulation can be mixed, applied, extruded and breakthrough-tested in-house, which is what makes a sample turnaround measured in weeks rather than quarters.

Current programs

  • Inducing catalytic properties in media, especially carbon, for enhanced performance applications.
  • Developing smart carbon media capable of detecting its own end of life — removing the guesswork from changeout scheduling.
  • Flow simulation studies to analyze actual pressure drop and system performance, which has accelerated media research considerably.

Media life cycle management

Suracsh has partnered with organizations including the Indian Navy and Medtronic India on regenerating and standardizing NBC filter media. Regeneration of spent media is technically demanding — the impregnant chemistry has to be restored, not just the pore structure — and it is a capability we developed against military service requirements.

A note for North American buyers This regeneration capability sits in India. We do not operate reactivation services in North America and will not represent otherwise. For spent carbon in the US, a domestic reactivation partner is the practical answer.

Working with our R&D team

Custom development starts with a specification, not a product code. Tell us the contaminant, the concentration, the flow, the temperature and humidity, and the outlet you need to hit. If the answer is that we cannot make it, you will hear that early rather than after three months of samples.
