Quality

Certifications — stated plainly

Supplier qualification runs on documents, not adjectives. This page states what we hold today, what is in progress, and what we do not hold. If a certification you need is in the third column, we would rather you know now.

What we hold Suracsh Filters Pvt Ltd holds ISO 9001:2015 for its quality management system — certificate Q-707024081304, issued by MyCert on 13 August 2024 and valid to 12 August 2027 — and runs an ISO/IEC 17025 certified gas testing laboratory. The in-house R&D unit is separately recognised by the Government of India's Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Respirator grades are tested against EN 14387 and NBC grades against MIL protocol, with the breakthrough data published on the product pages rather than issued on request.

What we do provide with every shipment

  • A Certificate of Analysis against the specification on the product page — see a specimen below
  • Packing list, bill of lading and country-of-origin documentation
  • Safety data sheet for the supplied grade
  • Lot identification enabling traceability back to the production batch

Specimen Certificate of Analysis

Below is a real Certificate of Analysis for one production lot, reproduced exactly as it was issued. Customer name, date, production lot number, lab report number and order quantity are redacted; every specification, result and test method is untouched. This is the document that arrives with your container.

Composite sample analysis — SURSORB CAG-D, one production lot
Test parameter Specification Result Test method
Moisture (%) 5 max 2.03 ASTM D2867
CTC (%) 50 ± 2 50.8 ASTM D3467
pH Alkaline 10 ASTM D3838
Ball pan hardness (%) 98 ± 2 98.85 ASTM D3802
Dry density (g/cc) 0.490 ± 0.030 0.489 ASTM D2854

Results are for a single lot of a made-to-specification grade and are not a published specification for any catalog grade. Ask for the current COA against the lot you are quoted.

Handling and storage Activated carbon presents real hazards. It depletes oxygen in confined spaces, some impregnated grades can self-heat, and dust is an inhalation and explosion consideration. Request the safety data sheet for your grade before handling, and follow confined-space procedure when entering any vessel that has contained carbon.
