Filter media for the Gaganyaan crew module
ISRO needed carbon dioxide removal media for the crew cabin of Gaganyaan, India’s first crewed spaceflight. The media had to be reformulated to the mission’s chemical and physical requirements rather than supplied from catalog.

Regenerating palladium carbon monoxide filters for the Indian Navy
Carbon monoxide filters for naval submarines use palladium-impregnated carbon. Palladium is a costly noble metal, so treating spent filters as consumables carries a heavy recurring cost. Suracsh and DRDO developed a procedure to recover the metal and restore it to a catalytic state.

Activated carbon spheres for permeable NBC suit fabric
Impermeable NBC suits protect well and are close to unwearable in heat. Permeable protective fabric solves that, but only if the adsorbent can live inside the textile. Suracsh developed an activated carbon sphere media for it over more than 200 trials.
