Applications
Personal Protection
When you are absolutely in need to be safe
Typical duty
Removal of up to <10 ppm of toxic gases
Where we are strong
Small batch production across a 1-10 tonne range, and a gas testing facility that runs real mask testing to EN 14387.
Activated carbon is widely used in protecting individuals from exposure to harmful gases. It is impregnated with various substances to increase its capacity to adsorb toxic gases and vapors.
Suracsh manufactures high grade impregnated and virgin activated carbon as well as non-chromium NBC media for personal protection equipment. Toxic gases such as hydrogen cyanide, cyanogen chloride, phosphorus and arsine are effectively removed by our specially impregnated activated carbons.
Our respirator grades are produced against the EN 14387 filter classes. Class 1 filters are tested at 1,000 ppm, Class 2 at 5,000 ppm and Class 3 at 10,000 ppm. Breakthrough data for SURSORB ABEK is published in full on its product page.
