Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) removal

Biogas · wastewater · natural gas

Also called: sour gas, sewer odor

How it is removed

Physical adsorption on a re-agglomerated carbon, or caustic/metal-oxide impregnation that converts H₂S to a retained sulfur salt. Impregnated grades carry far higher capacity but are consumed rather than regenerated.

Test against your own duty Capacity depends on inlet concentration, temperature, humidity, contact time and competing species. Nothing here is an assurance that a grade will perform in your service — it is a starting point for a trial. Trial batches run from 1 to 10 tonnes.
