Granular activated carbon media for water treatment

SURSORB AQUA is a silver impregnated granular activated carbon. Due to its extensive microporosity, it is particularly suited for removing low molecular weight organic compounds. It can also eliminate their chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes (THMs). The material is impregnated with silver to act as a bacteriostatic. Its particularly important feature is its superior mechanical hardness. This when combined with an excellent de-dusting operation, ensures an exceptionally clean product, with low initial flush turbidity.
